Bridging Borders to Accelerate Growth and Sale Value in Manufacturing and Engineering

You don’t double valuation by year-on-year small increments of revenue. For engineering and manufacturing leaders, the next leap often comes from one decisive move — the right acquisition.

Most companies don’t transform their valuation through small steps.

Real change comes from one decisive move — the right acquisition. Done well, it expands capability, accelerates scale, and creates lasting value.

One Decisive Move

If you’re running a solid engineering or manufacturing business, you’ll know how much time, effort, and margin can be consumed by incremental growth — new hires, equipment upgrades, product tweaks. The steps feel productive, but they don’t always shift your valuation in a meaningful way.

That’s where acquisition can change the game.

With the right structure, an acquisition isn’t just about getting bigger — it’s about multiplying capabilities, opening new markets, and becoming more visible, investable, and valuable. If you’re thinking ahead to an eventual sale, the right move now could make a significant difference to your future exit value.

Acquisitions at home

Scale faster with less friction.

Acquiring in your home country can help you move quickly and confidently. You can grow your customer base, capabilities, and cash flow without navigating the added complexity of international regulation or integration. It’s often the most direct way to expand your footprint and strengthen value ahead of a future exit — particularly when timing matters.

– Faster execution

– Lower complexity

– Immediate footprint and cash flow

Acquisitions abroad

Unlock new markets, multiply value.

Cross-border acquisitions can open the door to new talent, technologies, and market opportunities. Whether in the US, across Europe, or further afield, international growth can signal scale, strength, and investor readiness. When handled well, it can take your valuation further than might be possible at home.

– Greater market multiples

– Strategic foothold abroad

– Access to talent and IP

How I Work

Every step is designed to reduce friction, protect value, and give you clarity — even under pressure, at scale, and across borders.

1. Target identification & valuation

I begin by pinpointing acquisition targets that match your strategic objectives and financial appetite. Every candidate is assessed for structural fit, synergy potential, and future value.

2. Deal structuring & capital syndication

I design deal models that stand up under scrutiny. My network of global investors and syndicators helps secure capital quickly and confidently, with terms aligned to your risk profile and growth ambitions.

3. Transactional readiness

I create secure, structured data rooms that store and track all documentation across the transaction lifecycle. From information memoranda to due diligence logs, every detail is handled professionally and transparently.

4. Due diligence & risk mitigation

I coordinate deep operational, cultural and financial assessments so you enter negotiations fully informed and able to protect your position.

5. Post-deal integration planning

From the outset, you’ll want to plan for the real work — integration. I can introduce you to experts who will map systems, teams, and strategic timelines to ensure the deal delivers long-term value without destabilising what works.

6. Board-level advisory

As a seasoned non-executive, I provide ongoing governance and advisory input to ensure acquisitions align with the board’s vision and shareholder value.

Your Data Room

The unseen advantage in every deal

Acquisitions can fail not because the opportunity wasn’t right — but because crucial information was lost, misinterpreted, or poorly shared. I manage the flow of deal intelligence so every decision-maker works from the same, clear and complete picture.

  • One source of truth – All financial, operational, and strategic data is stored securely and updated in real time.

  • No missed details – Key metrics, negotiation points, and cultural considerations are logged and available when you need them, so there are no surprises later that could derail the deal.

  • Faster decisions – With every stakeholder on the same page, you can move decisively without second-guessing.

It’s a quiet, often invisible part of the acquisition process — but it is one that protects deal value and accelerates outcomes.

Why the USA?

If you’re serious about scale, the USA offers a unique window of opportunity.

Recent tariffs and political shifts have made US-based supply chains more valuable than ever — particularly for European businesses. Acquiring a US operation isn’t just about growth; it’s a way to build local presence, gain tariff benefits, strengthen operational resilience, and open new routes to market — without starting from scratch.

Success comes from getting the structure right.

Cross-border deals bring their own layers of complexity, from tax positioning to regulatory compliance. Even well-prepared buyers benefit from a clear plan and a trusted network on the ground. That’s where I help — bridging the gap between European ambition and US execution, and vice versa.

Having worked in the USA, I bring decades of experience in engineering, operations, and deal structuring, alongside a strong network of US-based professionals, to make sure nothing is overlooked. Together, we create deals that are commercially sound, investor-backed, and built for the future.

The result?

A smooth, confident entry into the world’s largest economy — without the cultural missteps or strategic compromises.

Why Work With Me

When it comes to acquisition, getting the details right from the start makes all the difference.

I’ve spent over 30 years leading engineering and technology operations across Europe, the US, and Asia — often in complex, cross-border environments where precision, structure, and cultural understanding are key. Today, I use that experience to support business owners, boards, and investors as they step into M&A opportunities.

I’m not a broker — I’m a transaction partner.

From early opportunity assessment through to final close, I help store, organise, and manage every element of the deal in a secure, fully documented environment. This keeps due diligence clear, consistent, and credible. I’m there in meetings, helping shape the structure, advising on risk, and ensuring negotiations run smoothly across cultures and regulatory frameworks.

I know what tends to work — and where challenges can arise — so you can move forward with confidence. Whether you’re scaling through acquisition at home or abroad, I’ll help ensure you’re entering a deal that’s sound, sustainable, and built for the long term.

I am also available for select NED Roles

With decades of board-level experience and a proven track record in engineering, technology, and cross-border M&A, I take on select Non-Executive Director roles where I can add genuine value through strategic oversight, commercial insight, and international growth experience.

Whether you’re scaling through acquisition, integrating a recent deal, or looking for constructive challenge at board level, I bring a steady, commercially minded presence — helping leadership teams make confident, well-aligned decisions that stand the test of time.

I also have deep experience managing investor relations and protecting companies from unnecessary legal exposure. From anticipating potential disputes to negotiating outcomes that avoid litigation, my focus is always on safeguarding shareholder value while keeping the business moving forward.

Specialist Projects & Distressed Assets

Alongside my core work, I collaborate with a global group that specialises in roll-ups and distressed assets.

If you’re managing a lifestyle business, facing succession challenges, or navigating a difficult exit, I may be able to help — either directly or by introducing you to trusted partners who handle these situations with discretion and clarity.

Supporting Ukraine

After the invasion of Ukraine in 2022, I wanted to offer direct support. Through my local Polish Association, I transported 400kg of essential supplies to a distribution centre in Wroclaw.

With a former client as co-driver, we then continued to Warsaw, where we picked up two Ukrainian women and their teenage children and brought them safely to the UK to meet their sponsors. I continue to support the Ukraine wherever possible.

Who it’s for

Not everyone is ready to scale through acquisition — but if you are, you’ll probably recognise yourself here.

You’ve already built something solid. Now you’re thinking about the next move — one that grows your value without putting what you’ve worked so hard to create at risk.

You might be:

• A European business with strong leadership and healthy margins.

• A US-based owner looking for the right buyer to take things forward.

• A US company looking to invest in Europe.

• A board exploring an acquisition to accelerate growth.

Whichever you are, you may be sitting on an untapped opportunity. The question is: will your next step make it stronger… or miss an opportunity?

Real Clients. Real Outcomes.

Ready for the Next Move?

Whether you’re preparing to acquire, ready to sell, or still exploring your options — this isn’t a journey you need to take alone.

The right opportunity is out there.

The right buyer is out there.

But without the right guidance, they don’t always meet.

That’s where I can help.

I don’t take on every project, and I don’t work with everyone — but if you’ve built strong foundations and you’re ready to grow, I’d be glad to explore together what’s right for you.

Let’s start with a conversation.
